In each of our locations, we identified a community project. In Salem, our project was the Marion Square Park. We did a mini makeover by edging, weeding, and spreading bark dust all afternoon. In Lake Oswego, we cleaned up a stretch of property along a creek. There were also a couple projects in the San Diego area. All in all, we had a good time, got a new T-shirt, and felt a sense of pride in serving our community.
